The depression and anxiety may also last their whole life if they don’t seek medical help for it.
It is sometimes hard for parents to admit that their child is a bully, or is a victim of bullying. Most parents think that their children are the best behaved children and fail to see what they are really doing or what is really being done to them. When adults think a child is getting bullied they should step in right away to try and stop the issue. Adults also need to try and form a relationship with teens that they feel might have a problem with bullying in order to get them to feel comfortable talking to someone about their problem. When adults talk to that person they should try and make them feel better and make them feel as though they are there to help them. If they are not able to help that student stop the bully first-hand they should find someone that can. The person that is there to stop the bullying first hand should also give the bully a consequence for their actions.
In conclusion, bullying is a big problem in teens’ lives, and the effects don’t just effect them temporarily, the victims are effected their whole life if they aren’t helped. There are a lot of things that people can do in order to stop bullying and make everyone feel safe. Everyone should be aware of bullying and put an end to it. Bullying does not make you a better person, it only hurts others.
